Tactile astronomy materials
|
| |
I am pleased to announce that we now also create tactile astronomy materials for use with students who are blind, visually impaired or have spatial learning disabilities.
What is a tactile? A tactile is a touchable picture that can help a student who cannot see to know what an object looks like.
What makes these tactiles special? These tactiles are not designed by a computer program. The masters are hand crafted with the needs of people who are visually impaired in mind. Handcrafting allows a richer tactile experience that really gets to the heart of the information being presented.
